Are you longing to hear some true traditional African Music?

Samite Mulondo, who goes by the stage name of “Samite” (sounds like Sam-e-tay) is a gifted musician that can play just about every type of African musical instrument known, and sings with a beautiful tenor voice that will make you think that you are on safari.

Samite was born and raised in Uganda and was forced into exile in neighboring Kenya during the political problems caused under the dictator Amin.

We are very fortunate in that he selected Ithaca, New York to plant his musical roots, which is surely quiet solitude in comparison to his native East Africa.

You have never heard such beautiful music as Samite reaches back to the Soul of Africa for some enchanting sounds that will be in your head for a very long time to come.

Go on over to the Blog for African Music and hear Samite at: http://www.africanmusicblog.com/. You will be able to download some free mp3′s of Samite’s live performances and learn all about the fascinating life and music career of this very interesting man.
