Serps Up SEO Ranking

connecting search to social networks

Odd name for a blog post: Serps Up

There are a lot of people who have great ideas for services and products that others would need, but they just don’t know how to present these thing effectively online. They may try SEO methods to increase targeted traffic to their websites, but not have the expertise to make it work. In this case, it’s a good idea to consult with an SEO services company.

Serp’s are Search Engine ranking Positions

Use appropriate keyword density in all your content. If you are overdoing keywords, search engines pick that up as keyword filling, and they will often reject the site from the SERP (Search Engine Report Page). You want to moderate use so you are providing quality content that has the right amount of keywords to be found in a relevant search. We shoot for between 1% and 2% of keyword density, but there is no golden number known.

One important tip that you should remember is that you should never republish an article at different urls on your site. Google ranks pages in its SERP based on quality and considers different links to articles with similar content as a low quality link. Instead, use references to one single link.

While you should be using keywords for your site, do not fill your site to the brim with keywords. Search engines such as Google have sophisticated system that can determine between a normal sentence typed by a human and a sentence filled with so many keywords that it feels artificial. The more human and realistic your content sounds, the better the chances are that it will achieve a higher rank in the SERP.

If you have to delete or move an article, leave a 301 redirect in it’s place. A 404 page is like a stop sign to a search engine, instructing it to remove the page (and it’s SERP) from their listings. A 301 redirect will instead transfer the SERP to whichever page it links to.

Google and other search engines will penalize websites which cram their content full of keywords with lower page rank, so doing that won’t actually help your SERP and will instead ruin it. Try to make your content easy to read and you’ll find that your keywords end up fitting in seamlessly.

Utilize the guidelines that are more than likely offered by the leading search engines for developing your SEO sites. Choose one of the leading search engines, therefore is more likely to be chosen by internet users. Check the search engine you choose to see if it provides a handy guide for developing SEO on your site, which is optimal for use when seeking the greatest SERP visibility.

When creating a website title, make sure that you insert keywords. Search engines use bots in order to find websites when a keyword is entered into the search bar, and if your keywords are in the title of your site, your site will be more visible and relevant to the bot, giving you more favorable SERP results.

Keep Your Serps Up

After all is said and done, if you are having trouble figuring out SEO on your own and you hire an SEO services company to help you, they should do more than just funnel traffic into your website. The main thing that they should accomplish is to optimize your website so that visitors stay, once there. Additionally, they should help you build a website that will continue to attract new visitors in a natural way.

A Good Way to Increase Your Rankings is with Free Links

metricsrelativeinstanceprimary

One of the strongest metrics that some of the large search companies consider in their calculations in awarding your Blog with a good Search Engine Rank Position (serp) and Page Rank (PR) is to count the number of links that come in to your Blog from other websites of your peers.  This might be better described as “How to increase your search rankings.”

These links in should be normal and relative to the subject of the post.  It is best if they are scattered from all over the Internet and coming in from various IP addresses and various servers.  The links should be coming in to individual posts more so than to just your homepage url.

One way to post a link to a websites’ internal pages and not make it look strange is to create the html link behind anchor text.” By doing this you will make the sentence appear normal and the highlighted words that the link is behind actually should be a keyword or keyword phrase that you desire to rank for on this particular Blog.

An instance of this is described this way.  If I wanted to create a link to a site that I set up for buying and selling domain names and websites at iDotnames.com, I would pick one of the internal pages and then decide on a keyword that I want to rank for and put the link behind that keyword.  This is done this way: A keyword phrase that I wish to rank for is “domain names buy” but if written that way it looks weird.  So instead I could write a sentence that says: Its all about domain names, buy them here.  Then I would highlight the anchor text and put the html link behind just those three words this way. So it ends up looking like this:  Its all about domain names, buy them here

In another example if I were to desire a link to come in to this site at UPserp.com, it would be better if it came in directly to UPserp.com/good-way-increase-rankings-links/ than to just the homepage address.  So in this case the resulting link behind anchor text would look like this:  Increase Your Search Rankings.

If your domain name has your primary keyword in it, such as: apple-vodka.com it would be very easy to obtain good serps with this site, but it still would be better to have the internal links coming in to an internal page on the website such as:
apple-vodka.com/there-is-a-difference-between-apple-vodka-and-apple-flavored-vodka/ .  In this case the link is behind the primary keyword but still can be used in a normal sentence like:  Did you know there was a difference between Apple Vodka and Apple Flavored Vodka?

You may obtain 21 Free Backlinks by reading the post by Mark Mason on MasonWorld.com and following the instructions as in the above post.  This is one of the best ways to increase your rankings.
